The Passenger Guide will offer a first-time traveller to PIIA a great deal of help, especially with rules and regulations set forth by government agencies and regulators such as the Port Imperial Customs (PIC), Immigrations Bureau (IB), National Airports Authority (NAA), Department of Aviation Safety and Security (DASS) and the Royal Air Arms of Imperial Royal Union (RAA-IRU).

 

Most importantly, we wish you an enjoyable experience with PIIA and should you need further help, feel free to approach any of our airport staff when at the airport.

 

FAQ

We've been asked quite a few times, "Why don't we [travellers] have to pay for the excellent service we get at the airport?" Well, the answer is simple enough. Airport tax of NSD 145 has already been included in your air ticket.

 

Also, travellers do us "How do we qualify for duty-free shopping?" Unlike many airports around the world, so long as you are in the transit area of the airport, with a passport, you get to enjoy duty-free shopping, regardless of whether you are in arrivals or departures.
