Airport Transit Lounges

 

Airport Transit Lounges are located all over the terminals at PIIA. Each terminal has two transit lounges, with the exception of Terminal 9, where there are 5 transit lounges. The transit lounges at each terminal offer free drinks with the exception of alcohol. Travellers on transit can choose to deposit their handcarry into the lockers provided in the transit lounge, or take a shower or even a nap to freshen up for the next leg of their journey. 

 

Other Useful Information

 

Passengers arriving on an international flight but transferring to a domestic flight must clear Immigrations and Customs. However, they do no need to retrieve their checked-in baggage from the baggage claim. The baggage will be transferred immediately to the other plane upon arrival.

 

Passengers arriving on a domestic flight but transferring to an international flight must clear Immigrations and then proceed into the transit area. Baggage will be transferred immediately to the other plane upon arrival.

 

Although there is no need to clear Immigrations for a domestic flight from PIIA, Immigrations officers will be stationed at Terminal 7 to ensure that travellers have the correct visas on their passport to travel within Imperial Royal Union.
