PIIA offers Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services provided by Grande Royale Engineering and the MRO branch of Jeddelta Aeronautics. Each company has their own rates and we advise airlines to check accordingly with each company to ensure that the company is familiar with handling your aircraft.

 

It is PIIA's policy that certain aircraft are not offerred maintenance services. Please check before scheduling any maintenance works with the above companies.

At PIIA we don't assign any gates to any airlines, unless specified, because we acknowledge that there will be last-minute gate changes due to clashes in flight schedules from flights all around the world.

 

Each gate will have its own boarding lounge, a comfortable seating area, and will be staffed with our Gate Agents to facilitate boarding. We have more than enough electronic displays to indicate to passengers the flight which they are boarding for.

 

And of course, we also provide airlines with Check-In staff and gate agents, all of which are already part of the rate paid every 5 minutes or part thereof by an airline's aircraft.

In our airport, or outside our airport, we have specialised airport offices for airlines to manage administrative tasks, finalise last-minute ticket sales and liaise with GHAs, giving airlines the ability to set up flight operations centres within the airport to track the progress of their flights. 

 

Each office comes in a standard size of 55 square metres, with high security measures and easy accessibility, for a monthly rent of NSD 18,000.

 

To meet the needs of growng airlines that intend to use PIIA as a hub, we provide them with at least 4 offices and designated Check-In rows and designated gates to use to give them a priority when using our airport. Contact our senior management to get a quotation on such services.

 

In PIIA, we don't charge airlines for gate usage or for landing slots. We charge airlines based on the time the aircraft is on the tarmac at PIIA. Of course, that means we charge exactly from the second the aircraft is on final approach to a specific runway all the way until the aircraft has taken off from PIIA. In this manner, we also reduce any runway incursions by any other types of aircraft. This also means we help airlines reduce a lot of turnaround time, and rest assured, with our 10 runways, we are seldom congested on the ground.

 

The following are the rates that we charge airlines per aircraft:

  • First Hour

    • Every 5 minutes or part thereof

    • NSD 40

  • Second and Third Hour

    • Every 5 minutes or part thereof

    • NSD 60

  • Fourth Hour onwards

    • Every 5 minutes or part thereof

    • NSD 95

 

Should the aircraft be undergoing maintenance, the aircraft will be charged at the rates of the First Hour for that entire period of time.

 

Our Ground Handling Agents will also be responsible for handling your baggage, and our GHAs charge on a per flight basis, a flat rate of NSD 1,400 regardless of the number of bags.
