June & July

19ºC - 29ºC

February - May

24ºC - 36ºC

It's mostly sunny and temperatures can peak up to 36ºC, although night times are usually quite cooling. The summer is usually the best time for travellers to get a tan or go to the beach. 12 noon can be considerably the hottest during this period.

After every hot summer comes a rather cooling period, the highest ever recorded during this period was actually 29ºC, as contrasted to February to May. July is usually cooler, and night times can reach a rather cooling 19ºC. There will at least be one day every week with an occasional rain shower.

After the storm comes rather cool and fine weather, with occasional thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds. Although this season is rather calm, December's weather can be rather fickle, one moment it could be dry the next moment it could be wet, but it poses no threat to any well-trained pilot in the skies.

August is probably the worst season of the any year in Port Imperial, and can be a living nightmare for even the most experienced pilots. Also known as the August Monsoon, the season carries strong gusts of crosswinds across the airport, rendering all but two runways unsafe. At the same time, continuous torrential downpours and heavy thunderstorms make runway conditions undesirable. It definitely takes a lot of skill and steadfast courage to land in this raging weather. There is also a high chance that the airport might close.

September - January

19ºC - 28ºC

August

14ºC - 18ºC
