Airport Wi-Fi

 

PIIA offers free airport Wi-Fi for all of its visitors and travellers. Travellers get to enjoy premium Wi-Fi service, simply by scanning their boarding pass using the scanner provided on the login page that opens in a browser once the network has been connected to. Visitors sending off their relatives can also enjoy Wi-Fi service by keying in a local phone number (no additional charges will apply).

 

Smoking Areas

 

Smoking Areas can be found near Immigrations in the transit area. Smoking is prohibited anywhere else in the airport. Each terminal has only one Smoking Area. Travellers must pay 30 Royale Elites if they wish to enter the Smoking Area and use its facilities. Travellers are also reminded to bring their own tobacco products as there will not be any retail outlet in the airport for the purchase of tobacco products.

 

Sports Facilities

 

Travellers on transit get to enjoy the numerous sports facilities all over the airport, enough for one to exercise their legs and body after a long flight. Each terminal has at least two different sports facilities, with the exception of Terminal 7, which has none.

Toilets

 

Although toilets are a basic human right, we make it a point to keep our toilets the cleanest in the world. While we make sure that each toilet is big enough to accomodate enough travellers when a jumbo jet touches down, we also make sure we have many toilets situated around the airport to make sure going to the toilet is as convenient as it can be. Our toilets also come equip with shower cubicles, in case travellers want to take a nice hot shower before continuing the next leg of their journey to another airport. Of course, if you are using the sports facilities, there already are toilets near them for you to conveniently change into a nice set of clothes before leaving the facility.

 

Sleeping Corners

 

There are always some quiet places in the airport there aren't always frequented by many travellers. In these special corners we have transformed them into comfortable sleeping corners, where a traveller in transit, or any traveller waiting for their flight can just take a snooze on our leather sofa beds. Travellers can choose to set alarms to specifically wake them up before their flight. Of course, you cna simply ask our staff to wake you up is you want to. Rest assured, we provide amenity kits should a traveller feel the need to wash up. Every terminal has at least 4 Sleeping Corners within the transit area.

 

Port Imperial City Tour

 

Should you happen to be in transit and have more than 6 hours to spare, don't worry, simply head over to one of the City Tour counters in the transit area, where we will make arrangements for you to leave the transit area and you can enjoy a 2 and a half hours sightseeing tour of the city for free. As it is a sightseeing tour, we apologise that we will not make any stops in the city, but still, there will be plenty of opportunities for photographs!

 

E-Library

 

Travellers can choose to take a seat in our E-Libraries located in Terminals 1, 5 and 9 and enjoy a good read with the tablet they are provided with. We offer tons of e-books, ranging from children's fiction to literature and history books. Of course, select your language first before you begin, as we offer books in almost every major language you can possibly imagine, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic and Tamil, just to name a few. Otherwise, one can just simply enjoy music, just plug in the earphones that we provide you with and off you go with R&B, Rock, Soul and all the way to Indie and Folk.

 

Arcade

 

At the same time, we have arcades situated in Terminals 3, 6 and 9 to cater to the young at mind. However, travellers wishing to use the arcade must purchase tokens at the counter to play in the arcade. Don't worry, everything is at a reasonable sum of 7 Royale Elites for 15 tokens, or even better, 11 Royale Elites for 30 tokens. It's definitely a good way to spend time in the airport during transit.

 

Business Centre

 

Of course, while we provide services for entertainment and relaxation, the business-minded can also find themselves working in specialised Business Centres, where we ensure constant updates of the stock market, and definitely, high speed internet service through our LAN in the Business Centre. However, travellers are required to pay an entrance fee of 10 Royale Elites upon entry to use the facilities within.

 

Airport Emergency Services (AES)

 

Within PIIA, we make sure we have enough emergency services to cope with all kinds of hazards. Should a fire breakout onboard a plane, our Airport Fire Services will definitely be on the ground to cope with the situation. Although we do have emergency clinics situated in Terminals 4 and 9, our ambulances have the ability to bring any patient towards the nearest hospital in Port Imperial. Most importantly, we take pride in our airport security, simply contact any of these departments below should you spot any suspicious looking persons or articles.

Money Changers

 

We have money changers operating 24/7 all over the airport, although we won't promise you the best rates in town. Although many money changers accept major currencies, we suggest changing your money to NationStates Dollars (NSD) before changing to our Imperial Royale Elite (IRE).

 

Prayer Rooms

 

For this, we do not apologise for any inconvenience caused by not having any prayer room. In accordance with national legislation, there are no prayer rooms in any of Imperial Royal Union's airports. At the same time, we wish to remind all travellers that Imperial Royal Union has zero tolerance for display of religious items, and therefore travellers must remove all religious items from their body if they wish to clear Immigrations into Imperial Royal Union. You can be arrested for religious display and therefore please be reminded to be dressed appropriately before crossing the border.
